Sidewalk Dreams comes from a poem I wrote about being homeless and living on city streets. About being invisible to passers by becoming just another lost soul forgotten by society. Yet, even lost souls dream about a better life as they sleep to find those dreams fade and disappear upon awakening. It must be soul crushing to find yourself right back in the same sad place from the day before. Thus, "Sidewalk dreams… drift away fallin’ through another day. Sidewalk dreams… never stay slippin’ through the cracks again."
