Everyone, Roblox has very recently changed how chat works. To use chat now, you’re required to go through AI-based facial age verification. And that’s not the end of it. Even after unlocking chat, you can only communicate with people in the same age group. For a creator like me, someone who values communicating with fans, this might actually be the end. It’s a very bad update. Now adult Roblox creators can no longer communicate with their own fans. At this point, the only way to keep communicating with you all would be to become younger— and that’s not possible. This update is clearly not good and definitely needs partial revisions as soon as possible. I get Roblox’s intention. But… My question is why are 21-year-olds and 90-year-olds in the same age group?
