This use case shows an example of our modular UNISORT system: In order to meet minimum order volumes for the galvanizing of screws, different types of screws are galvanized at the same time and then need to be sorted by type. It takes over tedious and monotonous work from employees and enables them to take on more fulfilling tasks.
Our UNISORT system is exactly suited for such sorting tasks. No matter if screws, production parts or packages (e.g. sorting of returns) which are mixed and unsorted and can be clearly identified by our vision-controlled picking technology and then sorted back according to any desired sorting pattern. Robot size, gripper geometry and vision system are flexibly adapted to the specific circumstances.
