In this episode, I reflect on how I’ve been learning to balance textbooks, AI tools, and hands on coding without burning myself out. I talk about the dangers of vague prompts, over relying on generated boilerplate, and switching between too many books and projects too quickly, and why slowing down to actually build from what you read matters for real retention. I also walk through some of the basics from the book “How AI Works,” breaking down classical machine learning models like nearest neighbor, random forests, and support vector machines in simple language while sharing how this AI deep dive intersects with my current web development journey.
