Ronf1 - Wormhole

Furthering my sharing of "earliest early" works of mine - a Dreamwave / Shoegaze / Chillwave / Darkwave closest by genres, more of a traveling and "lost in space" kind of mood, as well simultaneously eerie and peaceful by atmosphere. Some hints of Lo-Fi, Downtempo, Post-Punk and even some retro Dream-core, although quite difficult to label them as such entirely, but calling it of Retro-wave / Vapor-wave and Ethereal-wave isn't that off the point Initially and conceptually, mood was supposed to be a descend into the endless cosmic corridor (for reference - like one in "Interstellar" movie), but as I was doing this track further, it began to seem more of a Vaporwave by vibes, where detuned and at times overly reverbed instruments and effects sounds came in favor of that statement. As a result, bright and dark tones happen to waltz back and forth. If I were to picture or pinpoint something imagine in particular: a lucid dream-like atmosphere once again; descending into unknown through ethereal landscapes; or an unbelievably beautiful and stunning polar lights sighting, appearing out of the blue in midnight sky. Heavy influences at the time of making this one were artists like Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Moby and similar other authors of "unorthodox" and unusual electronic music; honorable mentions are this decade's chill types of Retrowave scene, amongst which such as HOME, Dynatron, Timecop1983 and so on. For synthesizers I used a variety of software "analog" ones (Arturia), as well as some software samples (probably of Nexus or Native Instruments); percussion kit used is put together from various retro drum machines' samples with a few sounds of mine ("white noise" transitions and some FX samples). Effects (reverb, delay, saturation, distortion, chorus, etc.) were made possible thanks to Valhalla, SoundToys and FabFilter manufacturers. Very recent mastering/mixing tweaks were made trough Ozone 12 and FabFilter shenanigans.
