I watched this video with keen interest and I saw that people are still framing using the same technologies that were used when I started in 1989.
I was only six months into learning framing when I started to think that a lot of the trigonometry could be calculated before you ever step up on the building.
From there it evolved to where I could cut the entire roof on the ground while the guys were bracing in joisting out the house so that we can all jump up and put the whole roof up in one day.
I want to share as much of that information with anyone who wants to learn it so that framing won't be the butt of so many jokes and framers might be able to go a little faster and a lot more accurate and thus make more money.
