Many developers misinterpret Agile Software Development's rejection of Big Design Up-Front as meaning they shouldn't do any design before they write code. This has never been recommended. In practice, some thought up-front about the high-level design of the feature we're working on is not just *allowed* in Agile Software Development, but encouraged.
