Root culture is a way to propagate plants in the lab. This video shows how to transfer roots to a new media container. After two weeks the roots will be mature.
Steps:
1. Wash hands and make sure your area is sterile. Work in a hood to reduce the risk of infection.
2. Remove foil and remove cap from the side.
3. Flash the top of the flask. 6 seconds on a burner. Transfer the root get it near the bottom on the side. Pull it like you are plucking your eyebrow. Move the root to the new media.
4. Seal flak back.
