My search for truth and understanding surrounding my mom’s death led to some answers, but also many walls. After writing The Letter and Begging, I realized my search was not bringing me peace, but only more pain. I tried everything in my heart to understand it all, but it only pushed me deeper into anger and suffering. That pain culminated in Can’t Take It Anymore — a track which holds my soul, expressing anger, hope, and relief all at once. It marks the end of the second chapter of my album: the search was over. It was time to enter therapy, and to find a new way of acceptance.
