Approaching a Roundabout:
● Slow down – speed limit is usually posted (20–30 km/h).
● Yield to traffic already in the roundabout coming from your left.
● Yield to pedestrians and cyclists at crosswalks.
● Choose your lane early (if it’s a multi-lane roundabout):
● Left lane → left turn or U-turn.
● Right lane → right turn or straight.
● Middle lane (if exists) → usually straight.
Inside the Roundabout:
● Keep moving – do not stop inside unless to avoid a collision.
● Signal right when you’re about to exit.
● Stay in your lane – don’t change lanes inside the roundabout.
● Watch for large vehicles – trucks/buses may need extra space. Never drive beside them.
Exiting the Roundabout:
● Signal right just before your exit.
● Check for pedestrians and cyclists before leaving.
● Exit slowly and carefully.
