We had a solid day of touring around Santa Ana and Orange County where Dad grew up!
After our touring around, we headed towards Lake Havasu in Arizona for the night. It was a 4 hour drive there but…. About 30 minutes in we started having some troubles. There was a lot of traffic, the cars were getting hot and the nova kept dying. We worked our way to the side of the road and started the diagnosis. Meg, mom, Todd and Kelsey took off 30 minutes away to @oreillyautoparts to save the day! They got a new distributor and started their mission back for a road side drop off since it was a divided highway on a mountain side.
After we got that all sorted we continued on for a late night on our @peakauto Route 66 route.
We have decided to come up with a giveaway for you guys. Along the route we are going to collect postcards, magnets and stickers from our iconic stops PLUS 2 tickets the Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK happening in May! We do our annual Peak Street Car Shoot Out at this race so you will get to see us in the 55 and a handful of other drag and drive cars we invite.
