Router Update 20250111

In this video, I’m sharing a quick update on the CNC router I’m building and a few improvements I’ve been working on in the shop. I upgrade the grease fittings on the bearing blocks, switching from straight fittings to low-profile Zero grease fittings to make lubrication easier and less messy in tight spaces. I also clean up and improve the spindle cooling system, including the tank, pump, radiator, fans, flow indicator, temperature gauge, hoses, fittings, and several 3D-printed parts. The system has been working well so far, keeping temperatures under control without leaks, frozen water bottles, or spills. Finally, I move the dust collector, reroute the dust hoses, and add a 3D-printed hose support to keep the hose off the Z-axis and away from wiring. I also mention the dust shoe design I’m using and give credit to Corbin Dunn, who shared the model. This video is a progress update and overview of the latest changes to the CNC router build.
