PCB Routing a Differential Pair
On PCIs that have a USB connection for the purpose of establishing a communication interface, we come across D- and D+ (Data) connections on the pins of the USB connector and also on the chip that will be connected to the USB. These D- and D+ connections are responsible for establishing a data transmission line between a device connected to the USB port and a chip or other peripheral.
Note that D- and D+ are equal signals, i.e. the same magnitude, but with opposite polarities.
In this quick tutorial I demonstrate a simple routing of this differential pair using #EasyEDA PRO online. #PCBDESIGN #PCBLAYOUT
