Recording of the April meetup for the salt lake city R users group. In this presentation, Greg Snow, a statistical consultant for research at Intermountain Healthcare and an adjunct professor at BYU, will speak on lesser known tips for using the RStudio IDE. RStudio is the most commonly used development environment for coding in R, and over the years RStudio has added many options to make life easier. This presentation will bring together and present many features that have not been widely advertised. Topics will include: rerun previous code block, outline mode and sectioning comments, code folding, jump to section, navigating between panes, pop-out panes, rename in scope, rectangle select/edit, extract variable, extract function, expand/shrink selection (brace, etc. matching), jump to function definition, find in files, and others (depending on time and interest).
