RTL_433 - 1 Decoding Weather Station Telemetry

This is the first video of a series explaining how to use a cheap TV usb dongle to pick up a home weather station signal on 433Mhz. RTL_433 is a handy rtl_sdr tool for decoding telemetry signals. The first step is to find the exact frequency that the weather station transmits on. This video shows how you can do this on Ubuntu 16.04 using the GQRX GNURadio program. If you are running windows, you use can SDRSharp. It all started when I bought a cheap weather station from Jaycar in Australia.
