Rust is becoming the default for many new Linux projects including Ubuntu as they replace their core utilities with the Rust equivlant. and is starting to take over when compared to C in Linux. Things like active dev, performance, and security are all driving this newer language to become king. Will this create a bigger C vs Linux Divide?
