Reclaimed old growth white oak primary and tulip poplar secondary wood went together using only traditional joinery to build this nightstand. No glue, nails, screws or clamps are needed just a few well placed wedges and an understanding of wood movement.
A bit of raw linseed oil thinned down in citrus solvent really brings out the color and grain of this great old wood.
The tight grained, slow grown old growth wood is a true pleasure to work with, much better than the stuff generally available today.
