Here we are playing Rusty Gun from Hiram Stamper. This is a more crooked version than that played by Stamper's son Art.
The title "Rusty Gun" comes from Art Stamper, even though this version is not the same as what Art played. This is because the title that Hiram used was "N--- in the Woodpile", which I'm obviously averse to using. That's certainly a reflection of the times, as Hiram was born in 1893.
Estill Bingham also played a version of this tune, under the name “Rabbit”.
