The Te Kotuku Kapa Haka group perform a sensational school haka as the korowai, taonga and tewha tewha were presented to Principal Gary Moore to honour his achievement as the recipient of the Sir Woolf Fisher Scholarship Award in 2014, and for his astute leadership, hard work, passion and dedication to his school - Rutherford College - Te Kotuku and the wider community.
The Blessing was conducted by kaumatua, Reverend Tahu Williams and Fred Hollaway spoke on behalf of the community.
