SA Outback Adventure including Googs Track

Eight days, thousands of kilometres, remote tracks, desert dunes and campfires under the stars, this TLCCV outback adventure had it all. Starting from Melbourne, the convoy made its way through SA, camping beside the Murray River, exploring ghost towns, crossing vast saltbush country and tackling the iconic Googs Track from north to south. With over 360 sand dunes, remote campsites and plenty of corrugations, the trip delivered a true outback touring experience. Highlights included camping at Googs Lake, visiting Mt Finke, meeting Jenny Denton to hear the history of Googs Track first hand, exploring Pildappa Rock, and winding down beside the coast at Streaky Bay.
