Sacrificial Anode Testing
Using a Cathodic Protection Reference Electrode to test Hull Potential and the effect that adding a Zinc Sacrificial Anode has on it. The addition of sacrificial anodes allows for electrons to be lost from the anode instead of from the boat hull itself. This therefore prolongs the good health of the hull. Over time the sacrificial anodes will corrode and become less effective at preventing corrosion of the hull. You can monitor this corrosion by periodically measuring the hull potential - this can be done using the Boat Meter Kit displayed in the video.
