this is a simple action / double action trigger.
simple action means it will release the hammer when the hammer is back.
double action means it will pull the hammer back and release it just after.
this do both depending if the hammer is down or not. it is use in some semi auto pistol. i came up with this one and have not looked up if its been done before.
