This story takes place several years in the future after the Original Manga series ended.
Sae wakes up in Nagato Village named after the acting village chief Yuki Nagato. Yuki gives Sae a shield once belonging to the Legendary Hero of Time. She then gives Sae a black pyramid key to retrieve the Master Sword from the Temple of Space. Her final warning is too beware Ryoko Asakura and her minions that patrol around the Temple of Space. This is how Sae's Adventure begins, and a Yoshi egg as a traveling companion.
