Video from 1980 featuring Pete Salazar performing his Disco Hit, "Let's Hang On." Peaked at #22 on Billboard, with virtually no label support. I (David Perry) produced, arranged, engineered and mixed the track (this is the short "45" version). I also played the guitars and keyboards. I don't remember the drummers name, but Steve Allen played bass, and Michael Spiro did most of the percussion. The string players were from the Seattle Symphony and the horn section included a soon to be famous Kenny G on tenor sax. I'm in the video on guitar, the girls from left to right are Denise ??, Carrie Laporte and Pamela Moore, they sang on the actual track plus one other girl named Tricia who was not there for the video. Salazar on lead vocal of course, the drummer is the guy who played on the track, the conga player did not. It was recorded at Pacific West Recorders in Redmond, which eventually became Triad Studios, which eventually became the Microsoft complex.
