I discuss Sam Kieth, creator of the Maxx who passed away on March 15 due to lewy body dementia. The Maxx was an important, formative book for me, and I had difficulty articulating why, since it has been so long since I've read it and it's long been out of print. I don't even mention that he co-created Sandman, I just talk about Wolverine, Batman, and the Maxx. This one really bummed me out, folks.
