As part of a coastal blue carbon soil project the National Cooperative Soil Survey (NCSS) is working to improve our soil lab analysis for coastal and subaqueous soils. This is a short video showing the process of sampling a Pawcatuck series in Rhode Island. Numerous tidal marsh soils will be sampled for the project.
