This song is based on the last words of the 1st Filipino Saint, San Lorenzo Ruiz, before being martyred on account of the faith on September 29, 1637 in Nagasaki, Japan. His feast day is celebrated every 28th of September. This song was written by Jandi Arboleda, and composed by Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ. Rendering this song is Mr. Noel Cabangon (of the Jesuit Music Ministry) & the Philippine Madrigal Singers (aka MADZ), during the concert “MADZ Goes Jesuit” last August 18 & 19, 2010.
