Sarah Blasko is a pioneer of the Australian music scene, walking the line between commercial success and artistic integrity with dignity. Regarded as one of our most successful female singer-songwriters, this film follows Sarah on an ambitious creative challenge: to write a new album of songs from scratch in a live theatre space, in just ten days. As this process unfolds, so does Sarah’s life story: her upbringing with religious missionaries, musical memories from childhood and the challenging death of a loved one … all shine a light on Sarah’s unique and resilient character. Narrated by Sarah herself, this film is an intimate portrait of an artist at a crucial turning point.
