SAS Tutorial | Introduction to Bayesian Analysis
This course discusses the fundamentals of Bayesian thinking and computation, emphasizing the practical aspects of performing Bayesian analysis. Fundamental ideas will be reviewed, such as using prior information, making inferences and predictions, and formulating statistical models. The most important computational technique is Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation. These ideas and methods will be explained and demonstrated using several Bayesian procedures of SAS/STAT®, including the general-purpose modeling procedure PROC MCMC and the specialized PROC BGLIMM for generalized linear mixed models.
