After seeing a handful of others taking the time to polish a simple utility knife into what I believe is a work of art I decided to have a go. First step was to remove the paint to get down to metal. Once there I added a coat of black paint to define the low spots on the casting if the knife handles. Then was the task of polishing the knife with a mix of power tools and hand polishing unit I had a good shine. I love tools so having a really nice little utility knife honestly makes me pretty proud. It may be put to work one day but for now its going to hang above my work bench just for looks! As always hope you enjoyed the project and if you want to see more of what im building or working on make sure to follow me on Instagram. @Petrol360 Or on the web www.petrol360.co Links to products used in the video.
