I modified my Woodland Mills HM122 Bushlander XL band sawmill to have a short log bunk. This lets me cut much shorter than normal logs.
The Bushlander XL trailer kit instructions has you remove the rear bunk to swap in the hinge. I ordered an extra log holder which I placed in the existing mounting holes for it. I put the log holder and now extra bunk on the front of the mill. I drilled a few holes, used some bolts from the mill parts bag.
Easy modification, to take advantage of unusual pieces of firewood.
