Scanning 2026!

In this video we start by bringing over one group of sheep from the other side of the farm, trying out the new pup for the first time. The next day we bring in the other group of sheep from up the hill, bringing them all the way into the wee park, ready to be scanned later on. Lastly, we move over the small group of sheep, the early lambers. Next, Finlay and Ruari set up the pens and run for the sheep. Once David turns up with his scanner, we are underway moving sheep through the race and into the crate to be scanned. Once through all 630 sheep, we pack up and move them out of the small field and into a larger one for the night. The following day, we half the flock and take off all the twins from the first group, putting them back up the hill. We then bring round the second half of the sheep, doing the same again, putting the twins up the hill. Next, we shed off the singles, Ruari and Finlay then move them over to the other side of the farm. The remaining sheep are all kept together and put into a small field.
