Introducing the “Symphony Of Night” EP, the latest showcase of their singular, wild sound. “‘Symphony Of Night’ is a release all about insanity, and is what I feel to be my strongest collection of songs yet. The goal with this project was something of a return to basics after the first two ‘Book Of Sorrows’ EPs took my style in different genre directions. As a result, most of the songs here are heavily dubstep-leaning, but that back-to-basics intention slipped from me as the songs became wilder and more experimental within that dubstep framework.” said Scavenger. “Right from the opener ‘Eagle Eyed’, the theme of insanity is clear with the song’s frantic, seizing drops. Madness was a motif in my first EP ‘Forest of Illusion’, but here it takes center stage as the songs devolve into blithering madness very quickly. ’Pain & Pleasure’ and ‘Moon Temple’ are perversions of riddim and classic brostep respectively, while ‘Kracko’ was my effort to cram as much rhythmic chaos into as short a timeframe as possible. ‘Zazabi’ is my unhinged take on hybrid trap, and closer ‘The Chasm’ is the wildest mockery of dubstep routine on the project, with it being written in lurching quartertime 140 BPM.” “I hope this EP makes you feel as unsettled yet entranced as I felt while making it. I’m honestly shocked I was capable of making such ridiculously manic and unhinged music, but that only emboldens me to one-up myself next time!
