The PT Van Nuys is a tip of the hat to the late 70s Schecter models that they assembled in their workshop as they transitioned from a guitar repair store to a fully fledged guitar brand. The PT is a T- Style guitar, but there is also an S style available in the Van Nuys range too. This is an ash body with a pair of Schecters own USA SuperRock Vintage humbuckers. These are vintage voiced with plenty of bite and aggression to satisfy any rock fan! The roasted maple fretboard and neck is a flat 14" radius loaded with 22 X-Jumbo frets. Although the guitar only has a pair of humbuckers, it has a 5 way selector switch which gives plenty of versatile options including a coil split position and a parallel neck humbucker. In the video I am plugged straight into the Hughes & Kettner Black Spirit 200 which is running out of the RedBox DI via an XLR Cable direct into my audio interface. The RedBox DI is running an IR of a Vintage 4x12 cab.
