SchuF Valves Explained - TruE Plug

SchuFs Yang Zhao introduces the TruE Plug valve. The TruEPlug valve is a part of the SchuF family of lift plug isolation valves and is a special rotary plug valve that achieves true Double Block and Bleed service in one enclosed valve body. The plug has a special moving insert that is fixed to the central plug and has an inlaid soft sealing ring. The insert allows free movement and avoids scoring when the valve rotates from an open to a closed position. The inserts are effectively expanded in the closed position and the soft seal is compressed further to achieve a metal to metal seal.
