We are working on the hamstrings and hip flexors, and improving range of motion in hip flexion and hip extension.
First, I am explaining concepts of mechanoreceptors, muscle spindles, Golgi Tendon Organ, Reciprocal and Autogenic Inhibition and useful methods like PNF, CR, CRAC.
Then, I am demonstrating how to put this theory into practice with:
- half splits and CR method
- eccentric hamstring loading and hinge work
- iliopsoas stretches and CRAC method
- lunge active range of motion
- Rectus Femoris stretch
- Full Front Split setup with CR
