Scottish Colors (James Howe) March Past in Quick Time 1969, 1987
One of a number of Scottish flavored marches from the pen of Major Jimmy Howe MBE. Despite hailing from Penshaw in County Dr Sets (The Royal Regine army service in Scottish regiments serving as a bandsman in The Royal Scots (The Royal Regiment), as Bandmaster of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's) and as Director of Music, Scots. Guards from 1959 until 1974. Scottish Colors uses 'Scotland the Brave for the introduction, while the trombones powerfully state 'Garb of Old Gaul' in the bridge passage of the trio.
