On the menu there are two choices for "screen wake" and "notifications" The screen wake icon should be on to allow the gesture and if the bulb has a strike through it, that means it is disabled. Tap the screen on the bulb to toggle the setting on or off. If you prefer not to be disturbed by the screen, especially whilst sleeping you can turn it off. Alternatively if you are a light sleeper and need to keep an eye on the time then you can enable it. Sometimes the feature can be accidentally changed in your sleep or by updating the devices firmware, but this is luckily an easy fix to apply. How Do I?
