"Have you ever thought about using Python as a scripting language for your application? **Python C API** can be a powerful tool when it comes to embedding Python as a scripting/plug-in language for an application. Apart from comprehensive Python/C API documentation there are not too many places where you can learn how to start playing with it and what you should pay attention to at first. During the talk I'd like to show you how to start. We'll go through such topics as running Python code from C and vice versa, converting data so they can be understood by these languages, reference counting and how to deal with it."
