SCRIPTING WITH VMIX DYNAMIC VALUES
Click Here: https://callin.cloud/streamingalchemy if you would like to join us through Video Call-In to ask a question or to comment on something in the show. vMix’s Dynamic Variables allow you to store data in variables that can then be used to configure shortcuts. This can greatly reduce the number of shortcuts needed to control more complex production workflows. While easily leveraged through the standard vMix shortcut interface, Dynamic Variables also provide a powerful framework for passing data and tracking state when using scripts. On today’s show, we’ll look at different ways you can leverage Dynamic Values within scripts to update and display scores during a sports match. We’ll cover how to both read and write Dynamic Values within a script, how to extend the scope of Dynamic Values using XML, and how to also use Dynamic Inputs for additional data storage. If you'd like to access any of the scripts used during our shows, here is the link to our Streaming Alchemy GitHub Repository: https://github.com/StreamingAlchemy/StreamingAlchemy Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Bvn5xHPEj5utQBWHF14UkuCSPeRKjtBR?usp=drive_link Enjoy them.
