Secure Static Asset Storage with Amazon S3 (Block Public Access Enabled)
Designed and implemented a secure cloud storage solution using Amazon Web Services S3 with Block Public Access fully enabled to prevent unauthorized exposure of sensitive files. This project focuses on applying security best practices by restricting public access at both the bucket and account levels, ensuring that all objects remain private by default. Access is managed through controlled mechanisms such as IAM policies and authenticated requests rather than public URLs. Key highlights include: Configured S3 bucket with Block Public Access (BPA) settings enforced Prevented accidental data leaks by disabling public ACLs and policies Demonstrated secure file upload and retrieval using authenticated access Applied principle of least privilege through IAM roles and policies Validated security posture by testing access restrictions and permissions This project showcases practical experience in cloud security, access control, and secure architecture design, which are critical for real-world DevOps and cloud engineering environments. #projecttutorials #hands-on-practical-experience
