"As I consider what it must have been like to witness Jesus Christ as a newborn baby, I imagine it would have brought a sense of reverence and awe. To think this being, who is God, would come and live a mortal life to gain understanding and compassion and ultimately to save us from our fallen state! And there He lay, as an innocent baby! What an amazing moment in history! In this song I have tried to capture that wonder and awe, and to remember that all the Christmas decorations and festivities are to remind us of Him.
