You will learn how to perform classical image segmentation step-by-step, building up a script to automate the process for reproducibility across any number of images, and serving as a starting point for future customization and extension of analysis workflows. Pre-Workshop Instructions: Download and unpack Fiji from https://fiji.sc/#download, launch it, then run the *Help to Update...* command to ensure Fiji is fully updated. To run Fiji on macOS, you may need to drag the newly unpacked Fiji.app to your Applications folder, and/or bypass Gatekeeper as described at https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unknown-developer-mh40616/mac.
