Selam Sessions: Blacknuss

If there’s ever been an epicentre for soul music in Sweden then it surely has been the multi-faceted music collective called Blacknuss All-Stars. The gang coalesced thirty years ago and has constantly been exploring Black music with different flavors, jazz-dance, disco, r’n’b and rap; however, of late they dug deeper and further. They cruise around through the genres we love effortlessly, be sure to catch them whenever they come to your town. Today they’re just as likely to blast dancehall or afrobeat at a live concert – or on an incredibly packed studio set such as the one they rocked for Selam Sessions! Selam Sessions is our long overdue project to showcase the whole range of music and styles that Selam represents to the world.
