They are not quite as large and as time consuming as a blanket, but are just as wonderful to wear.  I love to use shawls mostly around my home while sitting and reading or enjoying a hot cup of coffee.  They are convenient to wrap around your shoulders while running out for a few moments.  They are also a beautiful accessory to wear to a formal function such as a dinner or wedding!
