semi centrifugal casting process uses mould prepared using cores. mould rotates at vertical axis at lower speed compare to true centrifugal casting. the centrifugal force used to feed all portions of cavity completely. outer portion filled by pure centrifugal action. inner part by gravitational action as centrifugal action is not effective. wheel with spokes,pulley and fly wheel are made by this process
