2025-2026 Senior Project
The water jet cutter's primary purpose is to create toolbox organizers out of foam. Using a picture of organized toolboxes, a local business creates a DXF file outlining the edge of each tool. This project takes it from there. The DXF files are sent to a small Linux computer which then communicates with an STM microcontroller controlling the jet cutter though a gantry. The tool outlines are cut out by the system. The final product is a piece of foam containing imprints for each tool.
