Senior Prom 2023

On April 14th, the Homeport Senior Prom returned for the first time since 2019. Over 40 residents from Homeport’s 5 senior communities attended the event at Fieldstone Court, spearheaded by social work interns Faith Sager and Violet Striggow. Residents enjoyed a delicious dinner and dessert with food from Local Matters and Giant Eagle, followed by a scenic cruise deck photo booth, dancing, and several rounds of Bingo. Partners from Dedicated Senior Medical Services and Humana were present to discuss their services and provide gifts such as sunscreen and bug repellent. Homeport received donations from Bath and Body Works and Target to provide resident gift bags and raffle prizes. The residents enjoyed the opportunity to mingle with the different communities and many expressed how much fun it was to get dressed up to go dancing together. Both the residents and the Homeport team are excited that senior prom has resumed and are already looking forward to next year!
