SentinelShield – Advanced Intrusion Detection & Web Protection System | Cybersecurity Project This video demonstrates SentinelShield, a lightweight Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) developed during my Cybersecurity Internship at Unified Mentor. SentinelShield simulates how modern security systems inspect HTTP requests, detect malicious patterns, block attacks, and generate security logs for analysis. The project demonstrates the real-world workflow used in Security Operations Centers (SOC) for monitoring and responding to web application threats. Project Overview SentinelShield acts as a security inspection layer between users and web applications. It analyzes incoming HTTP requests using predefined attack signatures and behavioral monitoring techniques.
