SEQUEL Thirst - Ver. 1.10 Superboss
Imagine an enemy that takes the most troublesome gimmicks from the previous final postgame bosses. Here, we have a boss that has, - More phase transitions than Being of Myth - Annoying debuffs from Aevelwan - Random coin-flip turns from Digitalavisse - A requirement for exhaustively manipulating aggro like Revenge Chickener - Strong attacks from previous bosses like Combined Mechagod (+ summons...) - Punishing end of turn effects like IR's postgame final boss in Ovitri - Overkill attacks that require high elemental resistances to survive like the Unelma endurance fight in IR's endurance dungeon Well, I guess that's just fitting for the Chimera species. This is arguably the hardest final postgame boss in the series so far after scaling stats to those of the other games. Unlike the previous games, Thirst's party can't get away with grinding to trivialize this boss. The party's strength is capped at a certain point after getting the +1 equipment, so you'll have to make use of the most optimal tools you can only have over the course of the game. Write-up Pending, this is a fairly inconsistent endurance fight that needs more testing for viable strategies.
